Robosapien 2
He's back, and badder than ever ...and he still farts!
Unless you've been in a coma for a long time, or you've been on some space travel adventure, then you'll know that the original Robosapien was a HUGE Christmas 04 bestseller.
So it will come to no surprise to see that the mechanical wizzpopping Robosapien is back again, this time named Robosapien V2 (yeah, its imaginative I know).
I won't spoil too much for you, but this time the Robosapien 2 has taken a huge upgrade, he's now capable of feat's never thought possible in a toy (he's much more than a toy!) 5 years ago... not to mention he's now well over 2 ft tall! (thats's 9" taller than Robosapien!)
New Robosapien 2 Hands
The Robosapien 2 has been given a fresh set of finely-tuned precision hands, allowing him to pick up much heavier objects than his smaller sibling.
Robosapien 2 Advanced Agility
The Robosapien 2's new advanced agility means he can bend over, twist side to side, sit, laydown and even stand back up.
Robosapien 2 Senses
Robosapien's senses have also been upgraded, giving him the ability to track movement and obstacles, as well as being able to react to different colours!
What's more, Robosapien 2's audio system has been given the overhaul enabling him to react to noises thanks to his stereo sound detection system.
I won't spoil too much for you; you can find all of Robosapien 2's features over at Firebox.com.

Expensive but well worth it
I was a huge fan of the first Robosapien, but i was alittle hesitant to fork out for the second... but after much though (and my little brothers trying to convince me) i decided to go for it.
all i can say is it's money well spent! the robosapien 2 is awesome! much much better than the first!

Robosapien V2 is my new friend! He is the most amazing affordable (ish) robot ive ever seen. As John said above, I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend just under £200 on a toy, but I'm so glad I did. He can detect colours (only red, green and blue), humans, his bowling pins and ball (included with Robosapien) and follow them using his eyes and head!
The one bad thing I have to say about it is the fact there are too many buttons to remember and push to do some simple stuff like pick up and throw etc. Having to carry the manual about with him every where you take him as a reference gets a little annoying.
Overall, a fantastic product though he is a little unsteady on his feet and you need to have a memory of an elephant to use him without a manual!
